Our Travel Destinations

Leif Ryman and his team of travel professionals are based in Accra, Ghana but our network is spread throughout the sub region.  We offer travel consultation and adventures that include the following countries.

Your trip to the Gateway of Africa will be like nothing you have experienced before the time that get off the plane and feel the heavy tropical air, or the first time you hear the West African drum, or smell your first bowl of banku, it will be a trip of discovery and adventure.  Ghana is home to European castles and the friendliest people in Africa who will tell you “Akwaaba”(welcome in one of the local languages) everywhere you go and show you their rich culture, history, colorful festivals, beautiful empty beaches and some of the newest eco-tourism destinations in Africa.  Weather you are spending the day on the beach, riding the surf, touring the markets, walking on a foot bridge through the canopy of a rain forest, or walking nearly in the shadows of the Elephants of Mole, you will feel the beat of the African drums and spirit in you.

“Ghana has a number of the same draws as the Caribbean, friendly people, beautiful beaches,  wonderfully spicy foods, colorful festivals and celebrations.  What is great about Ghana in comparison is that it is free of mega resorts and cruise ship tourism.”

Togo is a small French speaking country in West Africa bordered by Benin on one side and Ghana on the other, the Ocean to the south and Burkina Faso to the North. In the south it has some beautiful palm lined beaches, in the interior there are beautiful tree lined hills that give way in the North to rolling grass lands and Sahel. Visitors to Togo will be looking to visit beaches, epic fabric markets, experience the Voodoo culture and check out the interesting architecture of the family compounds around Kara.

Another small French speaking country like its neighbor Togo, bordered on the other side by Nigeria and Burkina Faso and Niger to the North. This very peaceful friendly country is known for its historical sites dating back to the Dahomey Empire, Voodoo religion and temples, colorful clothing of the inhabitants, a stilt village in a lake and a great game reserve in the north. Benin is always a favorite for visitors to the region.

Burkina Faso:

This larger country for the region is the border between the Sahel and the Sahara desert. It shares borders with, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Mali, and the Ivory Coast. Highlights include game parks in the south, waterfalls, mosques, Sahara desert, museums and culture around the Capital Ouagadougou. The dry climate with plenty of culture and very friendly people makes it worth a visit.
